Investment in Indian education : uneconomic? (Английский)

In a country where the literacy rate is three in ten, it is often assumed that, economically, there is a surplus of education. This paper reviews the arguments. In sum, the case of India reflects a circumstance in which the existence of unemployment has led to the unjustified assumption that external productivity due to education is low.
