This report provides an overview of the storm impacts during the Northwest Monsoon season of 2019 in Seychelles. Two storms in December 2019 caused severe overtopping and erosion impacts in the islands of Mahe and Praslin. The events were associated to a swell generated by a depression in the Indian Ocean, the first one of which later strengthened to become Cyclone Berna in the western Indian Ocean.
