The principles outlined in the World Bank's OP/BP 4.12 have been adopted in this policy framework for resettlement and land acquisition for the Changjiang/ Pearl River Watershed Project for China. These are the principles and objectives to be applied: Minimize acquiring land and other assets, and resettling people as much as possible.
