This press release announces on July 3, 1972, that the World Bank has approved a loan for the equivalent of seven million US dollars to the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), of Nigeria, to help finance a project to expand the generation, transmission and distribution system of the country's power network, and improve management and operations.
