This press release announces that the World Bank has approved a loan of seventeen million US dollars to the Philippines to help finance an irrigation rehabilitation and extension project in Central Luzon on December 19, 1974. The project will upgrade the existing Tarlac River Irrigation System, the San Miguel-O'Donnell River Irrigation System and the Camiling River Irrigation System.
