Lessons learned from this report includes: input-driven growth not sustainable in the long run, productivity and innovation required to drive growth; productivity improvement, three levels of intervention, national, sector, enterprise; innovation must be steered to create value and economic returns; institutional and governance reforms to create a supportive ecosystem; and ensure maximum returns to domestic economy from FDI.
