The Development objective of the Odisha integrated irrigated project on climate resilient agriculture for India is to intensify and diversify agriculture production, enhanceclimate resilience and improve water productivity in selected cascades of Odisha...  Подробнее + The Development objective of the Odisha integrated irrigated project on climate resilient agriculture for India is to intensify and diversify agriculture production, enhanceclimate resilience and improve water productivity in selected cascades of Odisha. some of the negative impacts are include: (i) use of fertile agricultural land for construction ofinfrastructure may alter the land use pattern and impact on crop production; (ii) generated construction waste like sand, stone, wood chips (from centering, shuttering work), cut piece of reinforcement and mesh wire if not removed after completion of work may create inconvenience to local people, health hazard; (iii) residual material may wash off and chock nearby drainage system during rainy season; (iv) generation and disposal of biodegradable food waste; (v) use of fertile agricultural land for construction of chc may alter the land use pattern and impact on crop production; (vi) use of asbestos material; (vii) residual material may wash off and chock nearby drainage system during rainy season; (viii) high moisture trash fish feed becomes mouldy easily; (ix) health hazard and spoilage due to unhygienic practice and spoilage due to non maintenance of suitable temperature in transportation vehicle; (x) degradation of soil fertility due to increased application of pesticide and chemical fertilizer; (xi) use of fertile agricultural land for construction of infrastructure may alter the land use pattern and impact on crop production; (xii) use of fertile agricultural land for construction of infrastructure may alter the land use pattern and impact on crop production; (xiii) odour pollution from generated food waste if not disposed in regular interval; some of the mitigation measures are include: (i) use of private agricultural land shall be avoided, govt. barren land shall be used; (ii) food waste shall be collected separately and sold to organization preparing organic waste; (iii) use vegetarian fish feed which has a low moisture content and preservation treatment is usually not necessary; (iv) regular removal and drying of waste material and use it as cooking fuel; (v) cleaning and disinfection of mushroom grown area to maintain hygiene condition; (vi) possibility shall be explored for using of vegetation waste as compost material; (vii) vegetable (food) waste shall be stored at earmarked area and disposed to a designated place; (viii) organic aqueous waste shall be stored at earmarked area and disposed to a designated place; (ix) contractor and its workers will be educated or sensitized on endangered or vulnerable species and its protection measures  Менее подробно –
